Artificial Turf Cleaning & Odor Remediation
Packages, process, results, and what to expect
How long does the pet odor remediation service last?

Most customers notice a dramatic reduction or complete elimination of pet odor immediately following service. How long it lasts depends on contamination level, base drainage, infill type, and whether pets continue using the area.

If your dogs are still using the turf after service — and they will — new urine is introduced with every use. Our treatment addresses existing contamination thoroughly, but it's not a one-time permanent fix for active pet areas. Weekly application of a microbial-based deodorizer spray between professional services is strongly recommended to keep bacteria levels down and extend your results.

💡 All service customers receive a lifetime discount on our DIY turf deodorizer spray cases to support their maintenance routine.
Why does pet odor keep coming back after cleaning?

If pets continue using the turf, odor will return over time — that's expected. A single average-sized dog can produce up to 90 gallons of urine per year, which saturates the turf fibers, infill, and backing layer beneath.

Our professional service treats existing contamination at the source. To stay ahead of it, weekly microbial spray maintenance on active pet areas is by far the most effective long-term approach. The cleaner the baseline after each professional service, the longer it takes for odor to return to noticeable levels.

What's the difference between your three turf packages?

Essential Refresh ($249, up to 500 sq ft) — Machine brush cleaning, debris removal, hospital-grade sanitization, weed removal, and magnetic sweep. No pet odor treatment. UV protection available as a $49 add-on. Best for front yards, non-pet areas, and routine maintenance.

Full Comprehensive ($549, up to 500 sq ft) — Everything in the Essential Refresh plus our deep saturation flush pet odor treatment and UV protective treatment included standard. Recommended for most pet households with normal to moderate odor.

Severe Odor Remediation ($849, up to 500 sq ft) — Our most advanced process. Includes a heavy deep saturation flush, under-turf penetration treatment, targeted hotspot remediation, and a personalized maintenance plan. Designed for multiple dog households, strong ammonia odor, side-yard dog runs, and years of accumulated contamination.

💡 Not sure which package fits your situation? Call or text us — we'll help you figure it out before you book.
What does the machine cleaning process include?

Our gas-powered machine brush cleaning and infill de-compaction happen in one pass — removing embedded debris like leaves, bark, palm seeds, and pebble rocks while simultaneously de-compacting the infill to restore drainage and airflow through the turf system.

The brushing action also repositions turf blades back upright, restoring that freshly installed re-fluffed appearance. Regular machine cleaning also extends the life of your turf by preventing debris from damaging the fibers and backing over time.

How is your process different from companies that just spray the turf?

A lot of turf services apply a scented or enzyme spray on top of the turf fibers and call it done. That approach masks surface odor temporarily — it doesn't reach the contamination in the infill or base layer where pet urine actually concentrates.

Our deep saturation flush pushes between 150–200 gallons of professional-grade odor remediation formula per 500 sq ft through the entire turf system. We use the highest-grade professional chemistry available — because cheap chemistry produces cheap results. The volume and penetration depth is what makes the difference.

Does your service treat the whole yard or just the turf?

We sanitize your entire yard — not just the turf area. Our hospital-grade sanitization spray covers surrounding concrete, tile, brick, rock, mulch, driveways, sidewalks, and pool areas.

Our formula is effective against Canine Parvovirus, MRSA, E. Coli, Salmonella, Hepatitis Virus, Avian Influenza, Feline Herpesvirus, Distemper, Coronavirus, Giardia, Leptospira, Swine Flu, Streptococcus, and many more harmful pathogens.

How often should I have my artificial turf professionally cleaned?

For households with one or two dogs, we recommend professional service every 6–12 months. Multiple dogs, heavy use patterns, or smaller yards may benefit from quarterly maintenance to prevent contamination buildup.

Between professional services, applying a microbial-based turf deodorizer 1–2 times per week on active pet areas significantly extends your results and keeps bacteria levels in check.

💡 Southern California's heat accelerates bacteria growth and odor concentration — more frequent cleaning is especially beneficial during summer months.
Can your service restore heavily worn or faded turf to its original appearance?

Our service is designed to clean, deodorize, and revitalize turf that is still in good structural condition. We can significantly improve the appearance and smell of turf that has seen heavy use, and our UV protective treatment helps prevent further fading going forward.

However, if your turf has extensive UV fading, damaged fibers, or backing that's breaking down from years of wear, cleaning alone may not restore it to like-new condition — and replacement may be worth considering. We'll give you an honest assessment when we arrive.

What is infill and how long does it last?

Infill is a granular material added to artificial turf during installation to provide weight, stability, cushioning, and support for the turf fibers. Over time, infill can compact, migrate, or break down — reducing drainage and contributing to odor buildup.

Most turf installers use silica sand as infill due to its low cost — however silica sand has been associated with moisture retention, which can contribute to odor over time. We use premium vinyl infill, which is especially recommended for pet owners due to its superior drainage, anti-microbial properties, and longevity of 5–7 years. Vinyl infill is priced separately per square foot and is not included in our standard cleaning packages.

Pressure Washing
Surfaces, methods, and bundling
What surfaces do you pressure wash?

We pressure wash and soft wash a wide range of outdoor surfaces including driveways, walkways, front porches, patios, pool decks, fencing, block walls, concrete, and pavers.

Our standard full exterior package covers a 3-car driveway, walkway, and front porch — starting at $449. Additional surfaces are quoted separately.

What's the difference between pressure washing and soft washing?

Pressure washing uses high-pressure water to blast away dirt, grime, oil stains, and hard water deposits from durable surfaces like concrete and pavers.

Soft washing uses lower pressure with a specialized cleaning solution to safely break down algae, mildew, and biological growth on more delicate surfaces — like stucco, painted walls, fencing, and wood — without the risk of damage.

We assess each surface and use the right method for the job. You don't need to figure this out — we handle it.

Can I save money by bundling pressure washing with turf cleaning?

Yes — bundling pressure washing with any turf cleaning service saves you money and time. Since we're already at your property, the additional setup time is minimal and we pass those savings on to you.

💡 Mention bundling when you request your quote and we'll price the combined service accordingly.
Playground & Park Sanitization
Schools, daycares, HOAs, and municipal facilities
Who is playground sanitization for?

Our playground and park sanitization service is designed for schools, daycares, HOAs, city parks, recreation facilities, and any shared outdoor space with high foot traffic from kids and families. We also work with property management companies and multi-site commercial facilities.

What surfaces do you treat?

We treat every high-contact surface throughout your facility — playground equipment, slides, swings, climbing frames, handrails, benches, picnic tables, rubber flooring, synthetic turf, surrounding concrete and pavers, door handles, gate latches, and drinking fountain surrounds.

Is your formula safe for kids and pets?

Yes — our hospital-grade formula is non-toxic, kid-safe, and pet-safe. It contains no harsh bleach or ammonium and leaves no toxic residue. Kids can return to the play area quickly after service.

Do you provide documentation after each service?

Yes — every playground and park sanitization job includes a certificate of sanitization documenting the date, areas treated, and square footage covered. An optional compliance badge is also available for public display to show parents and visitors your commitment to safety.

Do you offer ongoing maintenance plans?

Yes — we offer monthly and quarterly subscription plans for facilities that need regular protection:

Monthly plan — 20% savings. Best for schools, daycares, and high-traffic facilities.

Quarterly plan — 10% savings. Best for city parks, HOAs, and seasonal resets.

Multi-site contract pricing is also available. Call or text us at (951) 216-3147 to discuss your facility's needs.

How much does playground sanitization cost?

Our initial treatment starts at $599 for up to 2,000 sq ft. Larger facilities are quoted separately based on a site assessment. Subscription plans include 10–20% savings depending on frequency.

💡 Send us photos of your facility or your address and we'll put together a same-day quote.

DIY Maintenance Products
How to use our turf deodorizer between professional services
How do I apply your DIY turf spray?

Follow these steps for best results:

1. Apply during a cool evening to avoid rapid evaporation in the heat.

2. Use a hose-end sprayer set to 4–8 oz depending on odor level — 4 oz for low, 6 oz for moderate, 8 oz for strong.

3. Apply using a flat spray pattern 1–2 feet above the turf for maximum saturation. The product needs to reach the turf base through the drain holes — that's where odors originate.

4. Apply weekly on active pet areas to maintain freshness and keep bacteria levels down between professional services.

Are your turf sprays safe for children and pets?

Yes — all of our turf sprays are formulated with natural, non-toxic, and biodegradable ingredients. They're safe for kids and pets and contain no harmful chemicals. Your family can return to the turf area after application without any waiting period.

We use microbial and enzymatic compounds to break down odor-causing bacteria at the source — not mask them with fragrances. SDS sheets for all products are available in our website footer.

Is your DIY spray a replacement for professional cleaning?

No — our DIY spray is formulated for between-service maintenance, not as a replacement for professional treatment. Consumer sprayers can't reach contamination in the infill and base layer the way our professional deep saturation process can.

Think of the DIY spray as maintenance that keeps your turf fresh between visits and extends the results of each professional service. The two work best together.

Pricing & Booking
Costs, quotes, commercial pricing, and our guarantee
What does turf cleaning cost?

We offer three turf packages based on your situation:

Essential Refresh — From $249 (up to 500 sq ft) · Cleaning, sanitization, weed removal & magnetic sweep. No odor treatment. UV add-on $49.

Full Comprehensive — From $549 (up to 500 sq ft) · Full process including deep saturation flush, odor treatment, and UV protection standard.

Severe Odor Remediation — From $849 (up to 500 sq ft) · Advanced process for heavy contamination, multiple dogs, and persistent odor issues.

Additional square footage is quoted per foot over 500. All pricing is transparent — no hidden fees. We can measure your yard via Google Maps if you're not sure of the square footage.

Why does professional turf cleaning cost more than a basic spray treatment?

Professional turf remediation uses specialized, high-concentration formulas and commercial-grade equipment that reaches all the way down to the turf base — where contamination actually lives. Consumer sprayers simply can't replicate this depth or volume.

Our professional-grade odor remediation solutions can cost over $80 per gallon, and a thorough treatment of a 500 sq ft yard uses 150–200 gallons of mixed product. We don't cut costs on chemistry — because cheap chemistry produces cheap results.
